Hey all, been a while since I’ve written a post. I’ve been busy with work and some personal things though.
Today I come to you because… basically, I need development ideas.
What kind of development ideas?
- Is there some script or program that you just got to have but you can’t find it? Here’s your chance. The script would be coded in PHP/MySQL, and would be relased as a paid script, so keep that in mind when sending your ideas.
- Website ideas. IE: webmaster, tools, etc - anything you can think of.
If I choose your idea, it’s a script, and I develop it; once released, you will get the first copy absolutely free.

First, I want to thank you for domain name portfolio. I have a small portfolio of 183+ domain names. I need to liquidate them and focus on select projects, so I use the script to manage and promote the domain names. The site is temporary, because I plan to sell the names on eBay or Sedo.com.
Regarding the development ideas, I am developing two applications now and got my ideas by executing a 3 month analysis and research of several vertical markets. However, my applications will never be sold to consumers, businesses, or other parties so my situation is different. I would check out hotscripts, look at the various categories, number of competing scripts, taking into consideration the free and open source offering and select several candidates, which interest you and will improve upon what is currently out there. For one, I am developing a very small mailing list application to meet my very specific needs as most of the commercial ones are overkill for my needs and the free solutions do not have what I am looking for … just a thought.
