Thank you, God.

Some folks who know me, may know that in 2007 my mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, and subsequently had “Whipple” surgery and radiation to try and get rid of it. The operation was a success and ever since then she’s been having check ups, etc, with her surgeon.

We recently had a ‘scare’ because of a PET scan. However, she went to her usual checkup with her surgeon Tuesday – and she’s still cancer free!

Admittedly, I’m not that religious of a person (in the sense of, I don’t go to church or pray too often, which I regret – I need to change that) – but God’s been hearing from me a lot since we first found out in 2007, and I believe he’s listened.

I’m just so thankful for everything, and everyone that has kept her in their thoughts and prayers. I love my mother very much, and it’s good to see her happy and healthy, and her being her same old stubborn self (at times) :P :)
