Well, about a month ago I went to a job interview and was offered the job, but, only if a contract that the company was bidding on was won by them. As it turns out, they didn’t win the contract.
So, I’m still unemployed. I’m not letting it get me down though, shit happens. I have freelance clients that have been pretty good to me, giving me ongoing work. Of course, it’s not exactly a steady pay check, but it works for now. 
My birthday is coming up soon as well, will be 23. Lol, I’m starting to feel old. :\

Some folks who know me, may know that in 2007 my mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, and subsequently had “Whipple” surgery and radiation to try and get rid of it. The operation was (more…)
Well Christmas has come and gone, and while this year I was not able to buy my family gifts because of my financial situation, it was still a good Christmas overall.

Today I’d like to write about a very young boy named Brody. I came to know of him from twitter, in a retweet by @meganmchapman.
In September of this year, Brody had crawled out of a doggie door at his baby sitters. He subsequently fell into a swimming pool, and went into coma. He is at home now, and still going through treatment, and appears to be progressing daily.
