So who exactly is SecondVersion? Eric Sizemore
My name is Eric Sizemore and I am 36 years old. I am from a small town in south-eastern Kentucky called Corbin; you have most likely never heard of it. To be honest, that is okay, as most people haven’t. 😉 The only claim to fame that Corbin really has is that it is home to the very first Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. I now live in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Many folks also know me as SecondV, SV, or Version2. The question I am often asked most often is what exactly does SecondVersion mean? I have never had an answer, to be honest. The best answer I can come up with is that when I started my online presence back in 2004, I saw it as a “second version” of myself.
Ahh, the Internet
The Internet. A blessing and a curse, at times. I am an Internet “junkie” and have been since I was a kid. My first foray, and experience, with the Internet was in 1995 when I was in the fifth grade. I was eleven years old at the time and little did I know just how involved I would become.
That is when I fell in love with computers, and then the internet. I was not really bitten by the Internet bug until 2004, when we finally got our first computer. And boy, were those the days. I will just say that I certainly do not miss the good ‘ole AOL dial-up connection.
Programming and Projects
One of the many things I absolutely love working on is PHP projects. While I prefer to spend most of my time working on open source, I am not adverse to working on private or commercial projects. I am open to thoughts and ideas for a project, and you can reach out to me if you would like. There are no guarantees I will take on any given project, but I will see what I can do. 🙂
Where can you find more of Eric Sizemore?
You can find, and reach out to, me on most social media sites as Eric Sizemore or SecondVersion. Your best bet is to contact me via email, however I will respond as soon as I can on most platforms. Nowadays I am the most active on Twitch, Tik Tok, and YouTube. More information can be found at:
… for checking me out, especially if you read until the end.
